Matt D.M. Watson, Ph.D., PMP is an accomplished author and corporate philosopher based in Boise, Idaho. With over 25 years of experience, Matt specializes in creating value while lowering costs by fostering leadership communities and creating high-growth ecosystems that integrate traditional development programs with curated experiences. 

His journey began as a forward air controller in the U.S. Air Force, where he served during the invasion of Iraq with the 101st Airborne Division. Following his military service, Matt worked at the Bechtel Corporation as an organizational development project manager and training director. He further refined his expertise at Hewlett-Packard as a business strategy project manager, director of talent, and later served as Chief Operating Officer at My Career Maps. Additionally, he serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning program at Boise State University, where he teaches Change Management and leads the career mentoring program.

Renowned for his ability to drive organizational transformation, Matt combines a diverse skill set in business strategy, human resources, and research-driven cultural models, all grounded in a philosophy of employee development. His transformative approach has revitalized numerous organizations, leaving a lasting impact.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University, a Master of Arts in Learning Technologies, and a Ph.D. in Global Leadership and Change, both from Pepperdine University.

Outside of work, Matt and his family are active volunteers in the Boise community and share a passion for golf and innovative cooking.
